With effect from 7 May 2012 for the convenience of applicants in Thailand, VFS Global will accept applications, applicable fees and provide delivery service through selected Thailand Post Collection Centres in 16 provinces across the country.

Submission process at Collection Centres

1. Please visit the link Online Application and click on the Apply Online to fill in the Online Application online. After having filled your form online, a printable form (in the format of a PDF file) will be generated automatically with your personal details. You will need to download this file, print it, glue your photo and sign each page.
2. Bring along the below documents while submitting your application:
Completed Online Application one per applicant
Please choose the one Checklist follow by type of visa on your application form as below. Print and attached with application form (Please submit all documents in black flame. Actually failure to submit all necessary documents may result in the application being refused).

Photocopy of the data page of the passport
Photocopy of ID card (Only Thai passport holding)
Photocopy of Hotel Booking or Invite letter if staying with friend/family
Photocopy of travel tickets to India and onward journey
Visa Fee and Service Charge in cash
Supporting documents: Complete a pay-in-slip one per applicant to indicate applicable Visa Fee, Pay-in-slip are available at the Collection Centre
3. Select an option to receive your passport 
Receive passport by courier to your residence or office address
Collect your Passport from the Collection Centre where you submitted your application
Collect your Passport from a Thailand Post Office located close to your residence or office
Collect your Passport from the India Visa Application Centre in Bangkok
4. Collect copy of the pay-in-slip as acknowledgement for submission of your application and applicable Fees. Pay-in-slip will indicate the Inward and Outward EMS Barcode number.

Please Note: The above fees are excluding the Visa Fees and VFS service charges.  All the applicants will be required to pay the Visa Fees and VFS service charges over and above the courier fees. Track Your Courier Status Online
1. Please visit Track Your Application to track your application
2. When the message reads “Application handed over to Courier” visit www.thailandpost.com to track your passport on the Thailand Post website
3. Key in your Outward EMS Barcode Number to track your passport
4. You can also call the Thailand Post call centre number at 1545 to track your passport

Step 1
Check your purpose of travel
Once you decide your purpose of travel you should follow the steps below. You are advised to read through the application steps set out below before you make your visa application so that you are clear about the procedure and requirements.

Please ensure the duration requested covers your travel plans. Visa validity starts from the date it is issued so it is advised to plan your travel dates accordingly.

Step 2
Complete your Online Visa Online Application and prepare your documents
You should submit 1 visa application for each individual applying for a visa. Complete your Visa Online Application online and submit all the relevant documents. Please note that handwritten or typed forms are not accepted any more. Incomplete visa forms/insufficient/false documents may result in visa rejection or possible delay.. Step 3
Prepare your visa application fee
Please keep your visa fees and other payments ready before you proceed to the application centre.

Step 4
Visit the visa application centre
Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the visa application centre.

Step 5
Collect the decision on your visa application
You will need the original visa submission receipt to collect your documents. A nominated person can also collect your documents on your behalf after the visa is being processed. Your nominated person will need to provide an authorised letter signed by you and proper proof of their identity. If you prefer you can have your documents returned to you by courier service.
If you are issued a visa, you should ensure that:
Your personal details are correct.
it correctly states the purpose for which you want to come to the India, and
it is valid for the date on which you want to travel.
If you think there is anything wrong with your visa, please contact the visa application centre immediately.
